Highlands Chalets is situated in Patensie on the route into the Baviaanskloof, making it ideal for a stopover on your way in or out of the Baviaanskloof, thereby maximising your time in the kloof. At the house and available to guests in our chalets is a broad sun deck and patio with a swimming pool. From these are magnificent views over the valley and the mountains. The views alone make Highlands worth staying at. From the deck guests enter the entertainment lounge with its homely bar and comfortably furnished sitting room. For chilly nights there is an indoor fireplace. Highlands offers three private chalets, separate from the main house. Each has its own braai area. Chalet 1, offers a breathtaking view from the back window. It is an open plan (bachelor) chalet with one double bed and one single bed. As with all our chalets, it is fully equipped for self catering and has its own braai outside. Meals can be provided by arrangement. Chalet 2 is a family unit with an African theme. It has two bedrooms (one with a double and the other with either twin beds or a queen sized bed), two bathrooms and two single beds in the living area. For indoor entertainment there is a snooker table. It also has a braai outside. Chalet 3 has one bedroom with either two single or a queen sized bed with a sleeper couch in the living area. Its private patio with braai is enclosed. Guests are welcome to walk around our citrus farm, enjoying the views, or to ride around on mountain bikes. "Come as visitors - leave as friends".
